Carolina (53%) vs. DAL
The Cowboys had a decent offense last season but the departure of Dez Bryant and retirement of Jason Witten should dampen their passing attack. Even with the addition of Allen Hurns and Michael Gallup the Cowboys only real threat on offense is Ezekiel Elliott. The Panthers finished top 5 in sacks the past two seasons (3rd in 2017 – 50 & 2nd in 2016 with 47) versus a banged up Cowboys offensive line missing pro bowl C Travis Frederick. The Panthers finished 7th allowing 317.1 YPG , 11th giving up 20.4 PPG and 17th with 21 Takeaways last season. While Dallas finished 14th 331.9 YPG, 14th with 22.1 PPG and 15 with 22 Giveaways last season.
Detroit (45%) vs. NYJ
Sam Darnold will be making his career NFL start and Lions new HC Matt Patricia (former Patriots DC) should apply plenty of pressure and possible force turnovers. Detroit has talent on defense in pass rusher Ezekiel Ansah, corner Darius Slay and safety Glover Quin. Detroit finished 27th allowing 355.8 YPG , 21st giving up 23.5 PPG and 3rd with 32 Takeaways last season. While the Jets finished 28th 305.3YPG, 24th with 18.6 PPG and 11th with 24 Giveaways last season.
Tennessee (14%) @ MIA
The Titans finished top 15 in total defense last season and top 10 in sacks with 43 (tied for 5th) with talented pass rusher Jurrell Casey and Brian Orakpo. The Titans also boast an improved secondary with corners Malcom Butler, Logan Ryan and safety Kenny Vaccaro. Even with the return of QB Ryan Tannehill the Dolphins are not an impressive offensive unit, with limited weapons and should be a solid match up to stream against. The Titans finished 13th allowing 328 YPG , 17th giving up 22.3 PPG and 17th with 21 Takeaways last season. While the Dolphins finished 25th 307.7 YPG, 28th with 17.6 PPG and 3rd with 29 Giveaways last season.
