Mookie Betts scratched due to left side tightness. The Red Sox are calling Betts day-to-day. An oblique injury could send Betts due to the disabled list but it sounds minor.
“Probably won’t play Monday,” manager Alex Cora said in reference to Betts’ status for Boston’s home game against Toronto. “[He] felt it during batting practice.”
The Red Sox said Betts is considered day-to-day.
