Liam Hendriks – CWS – RP (74%) Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Faced hitters on Monday in a simulated game, expected to return Monday vs LAA.

 

Royce Lewis – MIN – SS (3B) (46%) Knee – expected back Monday vs HOU

Went 1/4 with BB, R on Friday now hitting .321 with 3 HR/2 SB in 7 G at AAA, eligible to return on 5/29, likely to take over at 3B.

 

Mike Soroka – ATL – SP (26%) Hamstring

Scratched Sunday, will possibly make season debut vs OAK on Monday.

 

Jose Alvarado – PHI – RP (73%) Elbow

Threw Sunday after being unable to throw a flat-ground bullpen session Saturday due to elbow soreness, hopefully live BP next, will need a rehab assignment – no timetable to return.

 

Manny Machado – SD – 3B (98%) Hand

Fielded grounders Wednesday after swinging off a tee Tuesday, not expected to go on a rehab assignment, expected to return sometime next week (not Monday).

 

Triston McKenzie – CLE – SP (88%) Shoulder

Will make next minor league rehab start Tuesday (AAA), expected to throw 85 pitches, could make season debut next week or the following week. 

 

Carlos Rodon – NYY – SP (93%) Back (switch on and off with these) ok

Will throw a bullpen session Monday, likely several weeks away from a return.

 

Matt Moore – LAA – RP (18%) Oblique strain

Placed on 15 IL, Ben Joyce recalled.

 

Grayson Rodriguez – BAL – SP (42%)

Optioned to AAA Saturday. 

 

Trevor Rogers – MIA – SP (13%) Biceps

Will begin minor league rehab assignment in single A next week, expected to make several more starts, no timetable for a return

Will undergo MRI next week, expected to return in mid-late June.

Placed on 10 IL retroactive to 5/25, will undergo testing – no timetable to return.

Started taking light swings off a tee on Wednesday, not expected to return for several weeks.

 

Julio Urias – LAD – SP (98%) Hamstring

Unable to throw a bullpen session Saturday instead threw off flat-ground, likely minimum stint.

 

Joc Pederson – SF – OF (26%) Hand

Yet to resume swinging, no timetable to return.

 

Dustin May – LAD – SP (83%) Flexor pronator strain

Moved from 15 IL to 60 IL, expected to miss six weeks.

 

Caleb Thielbar – MIN – RP (4%) Oblique

Threw a bullpen session Tuesday, no timetable to return.

 

Drew Waters – KC – OF (1%) Oblique – made debut Friday

Went 4-5 in AAA game Tuesday, has played in 12 rehab games (.327 2 HR/SB) Possibly close to making his season debut.

Plans to return vs White Sox in June (9-11)

 

Brandon Woodruff – MIL – SP (95%) Shoulder

Resumed throwing after taking a break for 4-5 days, likely not back before June. 

 

Lance McCullers Jr. – HOU – SP (52%) Forearm

Will be out until closer to the All-Star break (early-to-mid July).

 

Joe Mantiply – ARI – RP (1%) Hamstring strain

Bullpen session Tuesday, expected back in a couple of weeks. Should have a high-leverage role as LHP specialist with LHP Andrew Chafin closing.

 

C.J. Cron – COL – 1B (74%) Back spasms

Has yet to resume baseball activities, just receiving treatment, no timetable but likely out until mid-June.

 

Andres Munoz – SEA – RP (78%) Shoulder

Threw live bullpen session Monday, hopefully can start a minor league assignment or face live hitting soon, likely returns mid-June.

 

Trevor Story – BOS – 2B (36%) Elbow

Resumed all baseball activities, no timetable to return – expected around the AS break. 

 

Dylan Moore – SEA – 2B, SS, OF (1%) Oblique

Expected to return sometime this week during the homestand.

 

Luis Urias – MIL – 2B, 3B, SS (18%) Hamstring

Will begin a rehab assignment in AAA this week, no timetable for a return.

 

Tommy Kahnle – NYY – RP (0%) Biceps

Tossed a scoreless inning in a minor league appearance in AAA on Thursday, no timetable but expected to return soon after his next outing. Ian Hamilton out next 3-4 weeks.
