The arrival of Royce Lewis will eat into time at third but was also playing the OF with Buxton now mainly at DH. Has always displayed modest power/ speed but with little ability to hit for average. Over the past two weeks hitting .333 with 10 R, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 6 SB

Impressed as a rookie despite struggling to hit for average (30 HR through 151 career games) and is currently on a 30 HR pace. Suwinski’s K% has increased from 30.6% – 32.8% but his BB% has increased from 11% – 14.4%. Suwinski has made other improvements with increases in hardhit% 40.4% – 44%/ barrel% 12.2% – 17.6%/ max EV 112.4 – 114/ launch angle 13.4 – 21.9 with a .509 XSLG and .504 XWOBACON. Akil Baddoo – DET – OF (4%)

2023/ 45 G: .250 AVG, 16 R, 3 HR, 16 RBI, 5 SB

2021/ 124 G: .259 AVG, 60 R, 13 HR, 55 RBI, 18 SB

After a breakout rookie season, Baddoo was a popular mid to late-round sleeper in 2022 but disappointed. Baddoo struggled mightily in his second season hitting .204 in 73 games, eventually leading to a demotion. While Baddoo has improved this season he still sits vs LHP but has played every day vs RHP, recently hitting 2nd with Riley Greene on the IL. Baddoo has drastically dropped his K% to 18.5% down from 28.4%, and 26.5%, and increased BB% to 14.6% up from 10.7%, and 9.8%, also ranking in the 93rd percentile in sprint speed.
